An educational field trip can be an integral part of the instructional program. Good field trips provide participants with first hand experience related to the topic or concept being discussed in the program. They provide unique opportunities for learning that are not available within the four walls of a classroom. An example of this would be a turf grass management program visiting a golf course. A trip such as this would allow participants to see first-hand the many principles of plant growth and management, pest control, and watering techniques discussed in the program.
Heck field trips might be much of fun fun fun but let’s set our minds to the educational part. Not all field trips mean fun too you know especially in our school. We don’t focus on the pleasurable type of spree we’re more on the knowledgeable type. Preferably this should also be practiced often in other schools for your money will just be wasted if all your expeditions aim for nothing and besides, you can do your own field trip if it’s just for leisure. What I mean is what’s the use of wasting your money for playing around with a bunch of students same as your age?
Well let’s talk about the feeling before a field trip. What do you feel, exited, fidgety, oh oh oh, let me guess nothing special just plain ordinary or geez! Do you even have to ask me about that? For me, all I can say is that’s easy; it’s plain old boring of course. I admit, as a student, I already felt the excitement before a field trip even begins. But through the years, I felt the same old thing got used to it and eventually, got bored with it. I don’t know if you felt the same but at least I got to say what I felt.
Man! This is my first fieldtrip going to a faraway place. Subic, once in a lifetime I’d say for its not easy to spend pesos going by yourself here, commuting and everything so I’m glad we had this and I thank our school for making this trip possible. Well, this one’s kind of short for I’m so tired of last Saturday that’s why I even failed to post this last week. Until next time! I got to catch on my sleep and some z’s. Till next time.
